Thamnophis eques scotti with aberrant pattern
June 30th 2013 a litter of Scott’s Mexican Garter Snakes was born.

Juvenile Thamnophis eques scotti, few hours after birth. With aberrant pattern.
This time the parents were unrelated to my “standard” breeding group.
Just like last year there were several specimens with an aberrant pattern.
The general appearance is more “warm brown” then the usual “yellow-brown”.
The dorsal stripe is very wide. The lateral stripes are lacking. The usual double row of dark spots seem to be fragmented into very tiny spots.
