Small litter of one my Northwestern Garter Snakes (Thamnophis ordinoides).
June 9th I had a small litter of one my Northwestern Garter Snakes (Thamnophis ordinoides).
The mother was only 2 years old and she had 3 babies.
On the pictures you see 2 of the 3 babies. They are 7 weeks old and feeding well.
This small, attractive and highly variable species from northwestern USA and southwestern Canada is not very common in European collections.
