My breeding group of Thamnophis sirtalis pickeringii, the Puget Sound Garter Snake.
These are some pictures of my breeding group of Thamnophis sirtalis pickeringii, the Puget Sound Garter Snake.
Some pictures were taken mid december 2019, directly after they ended their 3 months hibernation. Mating activity and locks were seen (picture 1 and 2). Picture 3 shows the group basking after a good meal. Picture 4 shows 2 specimens that just shed for the first time.
Pictures 5 and 6 were taken february 25th 2020 after the second shed of 1 of the females. Unfortunately the pictures do not show the intense blue colors, but check out the difference between recently shed and not shed in picture 5.
