On June 25th 2018 I had for the first time a litter of Thamnophis pulchrilatus, The Yellow-throated Garter Snake.

This very rare species occurs only in Mexico in several disjunct population at elevations of 2200-2900 meters.

Another common name used for this species is Mexican Highlands Garter Snake.

This species has a beautifull and very contrasting pattern of black and yellow.
