A few days ago a nice litter was born of the rare and very beautiful Yellow-throated Garter Snake (Thamnophis pulchrilatus).
These F2 babies are 19 -24 cm long.
The adults also have thi s same very vivid coloration, only they have more yellow tones.
This species is endemic for Mexico and occurs at high altitudes (2200 – 3000 meters).
