The year of 2013 started with very mild weather and temperatures close to 6 – 10 °C.

Surprisingly enough there was some snake activity on some days.

A Thamnophis radix female was at the surface as where 2 male Nerodia sipedon.

Nerodia sipedon usually does not show itself until later in the year so probably this is not a good sign.
