March 27th 2020 my female Thamnophis scalaris, the Mexican Alpine Blotched Garter Snake gave birth.

Third litter of the year so far. I am very happy with these magnificent babies.

The babies are 17,5-20,1 cm total length with a weight of 2-3 grams.

This is quite a small species. The female is full grown and measures only 60 cm total length, with a weight of approximately 100 grams.
