March 20th 2010 – 8.45 AM: First activity of T.radix female in 2010.

March 20th 2010 it was again relatively warm with temperatures up to 16 – 17 ºC.

At 8.45 AM there was some light rain.

Both pickeringii males were out (in the rain). Even more surprising I saw 1 of my 3 radix females for the first time this year.

Later that day there were some periods with sun but in the afternoon the rain returned more heavy. The pickeringii males remained visible until the rain became more intense, the radix female only showed itself briefly in the morning.
