In the past years I have been working on a breeding project with the original “flame” morph of the Eastern Garter Snake (Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis) from Quebec, Canada.

This morph occurs naturally in some local populations in southwestern Quebec.

So I was very happy and proud when on April 23rd the First babies were born.
