California Redsided Garter Snakes born on May 8th

On May 8th 2020 my 5 year old captive bred female gave birth to a nice litter.

On the photos you see the mother and some of her babies.

Babies of the California Redsided Garter Snake (Thamnophis sirtalis infernalis) are usually not so brightly colored at birth.
With every shed these babies will become more beautiful with bright red and blue colors, just like their mother.
